Itty Bitty Tapestry- day 11
Itty Bitty Tapestry- day 11
These itty bitty tapestries are woven on my simple frame loom, preferably in one sitting, but I have three little kids so interruptions happen and luckily weavings are patient. Each one is a playful exploration in color and pattern. This batch in particular helped me out of a creative rut and got my hands busy again.
Mounted to heavy weight paper and ready to pop into a frame. If you have any questions or need guidance on how to choose a frame, I’d be happy to help. Just contact me here.
Alternatively, if you’re feeling industrious, these minis could be sewn onto a hat, made into a lapel pin, or add a magnet to the back for miniature art on your refrigerator!
Details: aprx 1.5” square weaving mounted to 5” square heavy weight paper.
Curious what to do with an itty bitty woven patch? I have a few thoughts:
Frame it! Small art draws you in to take a closer look.
Sew it onto your winter hat (like where a brand logo patch would be)
Attach a magnet to the back- miniature art for your fridge. Maybe even use it to hang up a drawing from your kid.
Wear it on your lapel like a broach.
It’s the perfect size tapestry for your doll house.
Keep it on the card and use it as a bookmark!
