Grid Sketch IV is part of a collection that explores the woven grid. I love the predictability and repetition that a grid provides. Yet even within this structure, the possibilities for pattern are limitless with different combinations of yarn colors and textures. I can see this collection being revisited again and again with different results each time.

These textile pieces were handwoven on my simple frame looms using cotton, linen, boucle, chenille and metallic yarns.

Dimensions: Framed in 11” x 14” white shadowbox frame; approx 5.5” x 9” woven area + fringe
