This woven sketch is a simple take on traditional woven coverlet patterns. I love the symmetry of the block pattern and petite size. I played with mixing multiple yarn colors and added texture and dimension with novelty yarns, making a beautiful textile.

This piece was woven on my simple frame loom using cotton, linen, rayon chenille, and metallic yarns.

Each of my woven artworks is one of a kind, I can’t make the same thing twice! 

Pieces are signed and dated on the backside of the paper mounting.
